Katrina Prow lives and writes in San Luis Obispo, California. Her writing has recently appeared in Off Assignment, The Boston Review, March Xness, Emerald City Literary Magazine, Taco Bell Quarterly, decomP, The Journal, Pithead ChapelRedivider, Passages North, and elsewhere. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing, Fiction from Texas Tech University, and she currently teaches Creative Writing at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo and at UC Berkeley Extension. Her writing has been supported by residencies at Yaddo and Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Outside of academia, Katrina has recently completed her first novel titled WE ARE ALWAYS AT A BAR. The book orbits the experience of two waitresses and draws on much of her personal experience in the restaurant industry after over twenty years working in hospitality. She is currently seeking representation for this project.
